Eastern Heart Clinic is one of the largest interventional cardiology practices in New South Wales, with more than 100 clinical and administrative staff.
Our team
Our team includes procedural cardiologists, clinical cardiologists, visiting cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, anaesthetists, radiographers, specialist nurses, theatre personnel and administrative personnel.
As a patient at Eastern Heart Clinic, you will have access to a team of cardiologists, a specialised nursing team and support staff who are committed to your care, comfort and clinical outcomes.

Assoc Prof Nigel Jepson, Medical Director
Associate Professor Nigel Jepson is the Medical Director of the Eastern Heart Clinic, leading the team of specialist medical consultants delivering diagnostic and interventional cardiology services. He is also a Senior Staff Cardiologist at the Prince of Wales Hospital, where he established the hospital’s transcatheter aortic valve program, and the Director of the hospital’s Clinical Trials Unit.
Brenda Gale, Director of Operations
Brenda Gale is the Director of Operations at Eastern Heart Clinic, managing day-to-day clinical operations. She has an MBA in Services Marketing, a background in nursing and midwifery, and more than 30 years senior management experience. She oversees a large team of healthcare professionals, and works closely with patients and staff to deliver high quality clinical care and service outcomes.
