Dr Praveen Indraratna
Cardiologist
Dr Praveen Indraratna is a general cardiologist who specialises in cardiac imaging. He holds the highest Australian qualifications in the three major forms of cardiac imaging: ultrasound (echo), CT, and MRI.
He trained in cardiology at Prince of Wales, Sutherland and St George Hospitals and completed a distinguished advanced cardiac imaging fellowship from St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. He also has a PhD in Digital Health.
Dr Indraratna has published over 40 peer-reviewed medical research journal articles and has earned multiple awards and scholarships for clinical cardiology, medical research and junior doctor education. He undertakes consultations at Wales Cardiology, and performs trans-oesophageal echocardiograms and electrical cardioversions at Eastern Heart Clinic.
